When a coven of witches are threatened, they take action to protect their kind.

I really liked the style of this - it was consistent and really suited the story you were telling. Well edited, good music choices. Overall, an effective short and personally witches terrify me, so it had impact. A shame you were disqualified!

Strong stylistic choices suited you guys really well here.
The silhouette sequence was one of the most clever storytelling devices of the night.

Shame to hear about the DQ.

Glad to have seen this one even if it was DQ'd, it was strong the whole way through, the highlight being the silhouette scene. Also thought the music was used well. Only question I had was how did your protagonist go from not knowing a lot about witches to performing a satanic ritual haha, that being said great performance as always Derian, hope to see more from you guys in the future.

A novel and stylish approach. Although I was a little confused by the story at the end, this was very enjoyable to watch.

I'm not quite sure what the plan was for this film, and I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if you guys lost all your audio behind the scenes and opted for the old silent film 'word on a separate screen' approach.

The story is a good idea and you had some pretty sharp imagery (those silhouettes too, ohhhh baby so good), but ultimately I don't think the idea was realized entirely to its full capacity.

As for your title, 'The Silent Coven' is more or less an accurate description of the film, but I would have been more intrigued by something a little more contemporary and eclectic. That's just me though!
