Excellent hoof print make-up and satisfying end.
Interesting use of scene transitions. Bad piss gag that didn't fit with the rest of the film (I'm pretty sure the residue from the strawberry milk would taint any sample, and good luck getting it to the lab that way). Nice idea and shot in a really appropriate way for the tone of the film, I could see this detective investigating a slew of holiday related supernatural murders.
A really solid entry. I laughed out loud when I got the reference the story is based on. Yeah, it's a corny idea but it was handled really nicely. The ending was well done too, despite the idea of a hardcore Santa being the obvious go to for pretty much every christmas film this year.
The team intro I think was the most accurate expression of a 48 Hours weekend that has ever existed, too.
First off, best team intro I've seen in years.
A sweet little film, I really liked the concept and it had a few laugh-out-loud moments that the audience obviously really liked.
A few technical gripes, like the boom shadow in the otherwise gorgeous slow-mo opening shot, but nothing too unforgivable. Wasn't a fan of the transition between scenes, it didn't really seem to fit the feel of the rest of the film.
Lead actress is very talented and I really enjoyed her performance.
Best team intro of the heat, period - I loved it! The film itself ... solid idea, well executed. I thought it was pretty fun and the notion of Santa sending a reindeer to do his dirty work is a funny one. Good stuff.
Christmas crime story! Liked the pee in a cup gag but a waste of good strawberry milk.
