I thought this film was hilarious and the two lead actresses were brilliant and held the film together well. Some brilliant awkward moments and a funny story. Interesting use of the character, not sure how the judges will view it - ambitious or breaking the rules - but I thought it was a great film.
The two leads were in complete charge of this comedy (in uniquely interpreted roles 'Harper' and 'Harrison') thanks to a killer premise, doses of witty lines and a duo that bounced humour off each other like a pong match between two brick walls.
With no interest in showing off flashy lighting, cinematography or sound work, it's a short that would feel more at home on YouTube than the big screen. But I get the feeling that the Danny Tanner Fan Club 2.0 ever only had one job in mind - to make everyone in the theatre laugh their asses off. And by George, there wasn't an ass left to salvage once they were done.
This definitely gave me the most 'laugh out loud' moments of the night - the two leads were great, really drove the tone of the film. Loved it
Love this team name and loved the film! Lots of gags which worked well thanks to the lead actresses' great comic timing. the play on gender stereotypes was really fun, too.
Hands down my favourite of the evening. If people ever again question whether women can be funny think again! These girls nail it. I laugh just thinking about it.
Such an entertaining film, I laughed through pretty much the whole thing. Loved the breaking of the fourth wall.
Easily the funniest film of the night. Plot was thin, but I didn't give a shit cause the two leads were charismatic enough to carry my attention and make me genuinely interested to find out what would happen next. The self deprecating breaking of the 4th wall was a highlight. I found the moral at the end of the film was a little unrelated to the plot, but again it was easily over looked because it was hilarious. I demand a 'The Fucket List' TV show because I enjoyed the characters so much. Eli was the best male character. Really well done on that actors part.
It looked like the team had a lot of fun making this film and should be proud to know it made me cry with laughter. They seem like funny people. I would like to hang out with them. please hang out with me.
The two hilarious leads really owned this film. Every other reviewer has pretty much said what I thought: Production value and story pacing were completely worthy sacrifices for everything else this film gets right, every actor is great, and the dialogue is hilarious.
This got a really good audience response, but I thought the humour was a bit cheap or repetitive, I didn't think it was enough to carry the film. The two leads did a good job, they were pretty believable, had good chemistry and delivered their lines well. I didn't get much from the rest of the film though - the image and sound weren't especially impressive, but not a problem either, didn't affect enjoyment.
if you guys aren't a comedy troupe do us all a favour and make one, hilarious stuff. Not the best looking or cinematic short, and it won't tug on your heart strings but it will make your sides hurt from laughing!
