Another great film with great feeling from Crankleskank. Thankfully not as sad as last years film (although the actress was fantastic last year too) and was a sweet story.
I thought the acting was top notch, the story was funny and well executed. Could easily make the finals.
Very nicely done comedy about a man and his loyalty to Harper (Bernie) Harrison. His to-do list didn't seem all that exciting, but it's largely in service of some good humour.
The ending montage left me a tad confused - wasn't entirely sure what it was going for (and I can't quite explain it further without going into spoiler territory).
A solid film from Crankleskank, mixing Weekend at Bernies with a bucket list structure. Well acted and funny performances, nice editing and crisp cinematography. I think the best thing this film has going for it is despite the laughs it has a lot of heart and managed to move me a bit by the end.
A really sweet film which I actually found really moving. The bucket list approach gave it a good structure . Good acting, really fun and some of the nicest shots of the evening. I hadn't seen these guys work before but look forward to seeing more.
A touching story featuring some great shots. Was slightly unsure about the film when it started but it definitely grew on me as it went on.
Overall I enjoyed this one, mostly due to the German guy. He was the best character of the entire heat. I wasn't immediately interested in the film to begin with, but it eventually proved itself to be funny and surprisingly moving.
Really great idea. I can see you guys coming up with this on the friday night when someone piped up and said "What if Harper was actually thoughtless? Like... braindead...?"
Overall the idea played off very well, but the execution of the story fell apart in some places. The ending of the film, where we see Harper enjoying all the adventures he's been having wasn't explained as clearly as it needed to be, but it was still very sweet and emotional, which is something not a lot of 48 teams attempt.
Really enjoyed this one, it was one of the longest films i think, but it flowed well and showed you can spend some time on nice shots without losing focus. Funny story even if the bucket list wasn't that strong, but the characters and alternate viewpoints made it entertaining. Some good laughs, and overall a nicely balanced film.
Sweet and emotional story. Needed a tighter edit to strengthen this film for me.
