This film opened with an excellent first few scenes - really well shot, visually stunning and a nice voice over. As the film developed it didn't manage to keep it together in such a tight fashion and the dialogue between characters broke down somewhat. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable to watch and fun seeing the story play out
One of the strongest in this heat. Beautifully shot and acted. That final scene of the guards at the door was my favourite shot of the whole thing. Great concept too. Needed some foley during the fight scenes, but if that's the only negative I'm picking then it was a bloody great film.
This film was fantastic. The concept was clever but simple enough to not overwhelm the seven minute limit. Performances were solid, the picture quality crisp and the plot fast paced. The final shot was easily the highlight of the heat. Awesome!!
Who remembers the film Clockstoppers from 11 or 12 years ago? Um, I do, and it was a little bit ironic in my view for adults to rip off what was a children/family film. Bit more of a sinister dark vibe, given that the usage of stopping time was for criminal gain by our protagonist as opposed to stopping it in the original film. I thought the leads had good chemistry, but was disappointed that the team had not done something a bit more original.
really nice concept. i think that they took a heavily used topic such as time travel and put a fresh swing on it along with leaving out all the cliche parts of time travel spy movies. there were a few error that i notised but the positives of this film defiantly outweighed the negatives.
I really liked this film. I liked the concept, the plot, and the execution. The action was great and there was some plausible fighting.
The lead actress had an accent I couldn't quite pick, as it seemed to float between Kiwi, American, and Irish. It's a minor thing, but it really threw me and took a lot of my focus away from how good the rest of the film was.
Lacking originality with poor sound quality I found some of the lines a bit "garbled". Had a somewhat "seen it before feel"
My favourite from the Heat. The beginning looked incredibly professional editing-wise and the camera angles looked good. Some issues here and there afterwards - some of the fighting was hilarious - but the still great on the whole. Love the POV shot in this one. The ending was excellent as well. Well done!
