Funny film full of hilarious characters. The part of living the immobilised character's dream went on for a bit too long and the film could have ended a lot earlier than that. However, I enjoyed the dopey humour.
I really enjoyed this one. Good genre use, nice immobilisation. Very funny and well acted. Nice story and well made with what I thought was some very funny acting.
loved the idea. well executed. really liked it.
I really enjoyed this one. Great use of the immobilisation genre and there was substance here in this comedy. In fact it was bloody hilarious. Liked how the silence of the character meant all of a sudden she was a good listener, and how her silence was interpreted as a number of different things apart from the real reason for it. Her immobilisation. And nice play on the how much would you really miss me idea. And then well rounded up. The only improvement I'd suggest was the ending or final shot didn't quite work. Perhaps you could have got around it by her getting stuck on the rocks below and further immobilised but otherwise really great job and one of my faves.
Props for the out of town feel and premise of feeling stuck in a small town and needing to escape. Loads of gags that worked (role play reversal anyone?). And points for stealing a wheelchair from the cancer hospital! Reminded me a bit of Weekend at Bernies at times. As someone mentioned, the POV shot could have been more visual as that was the climax to the story. And there were heaps of opportunities to use the POV shot from the perspective of someone with locked in syndrome. Might have added to the audience connecting with the character more.
Great performances and a really fun idea. Totally reinforced my choice to never move to the country. The POV shot had a bit of a technical issue in that the camera moved so fast you couldn't see a lot but other than that, no complaints.
Great performances in this film... wonderful comic timing from everyone.
Interesting take the the immobilised genre. Good basic premise, well executed. Drew, Cassie and Sez were all hilarious - and well cast. The bit with the hooker killed me. No major sound or video issues that I noticed. Loved the closing shot with tilt down. Good job guys.
Very well done. Required elements were organic rather than forced. Sound, visuals all strong. Brilliant performances. Yeah, POV could have been better, but if you don't a spare camera to through off a cliff...
great film, had me laughing for a lot of it
think it did go on for a little bit longer than necessary but overall was quite good use of the genre
A super fun project to work on. Great team of people and i'm really proud of this little beaut film :-) HARD ON!
