Pros: I really liked this film, their edit was pretty snappy and it got audience laughs in all the right places. There were some great camera shots, and the lead actor did a great job. Some of the ideas put forward were also very clever and it had polished video and audio.
Cons: The structure seemed a bit choppy. The bit with the toilet paper could easily have been a film in itself, and the resolution seemed a bit rushed. There were also several great scenarios for leaving the bathroom, and most of them were better than the one that actually happened. The ending fell a bit flat.
Overall: Highly entertaining, some great camera work and the story was overall pretty good.
I really liked the alternative endings in this one. Great opportunities to "get off the toilet" and foil the "immobilisation" of the character. The main character was fabulous to watch - his facial expressions in particular were brilliant. Well done.
I do wish that one of the alternative endings had been the ending, instead of the end that we were given.
Pros: Hilarious. Great story and take on the immobilised genre. Was laughing the whole way through
Cons: Not the strongest ending, the other actors were a bit lackluster.
Overall: Had a good laugh, and the main showed an awesome portrayal of a guy stuck in a womens toilet.
Thoroughly enjoyable film about a man stuck in a toilet. Very silly premise, a bit lazy even but the use of "what if" scenes saved it from being pure potty humor. The only really bad thing that I can say is that the music totally drained out the dialogue in a few places but otherwise it was well made.
Guy stuck in a bathroom stall cause he accidentally went into the ladies. Some really funny and gross out moments, quite well acted, good use of genre but had multiple ends then the last one kind of just finished and was a weaker ending than some of his plans that he was devising? Overall still very amusing and a good start to the heat.
48 hours started off with a bang and this was one of my favourite films in this heat. Was nicely shot. And a great idea of for the immobilised genre providing many laughs. The ending was a little confusing and could have been executed better and also the trait of insomnia that the main character was meant to have wasn't very obvious. Otherwise one of the better films of the heat.
Pros: A great story with a fantastic performance from the lead actor, Nice to see a a lot of different camera angles and the edit was tight
Cons: The audio was a little low at times (in one scene I could hardly hear the girls talking) I also thought the script lacked insight as to how Vic was an Insomniac?
Overall: A funny film with great acting and story
Simple, funny, well shot, all over a polished film. Some fantastic ideas on how the man escapes but it felt like it didn't end, which was disappointing. The lead actor did a good job, it's unfortunate that the rest of the cast weren't up to his standards. One of the best films of the heat.
