A man is in a new relationship with a girl but is shadowed by his obsessive best friend.
Pros: Some very hilarious gags. I loved the bongo drums, they were well played, and there was some excellent acting. The story made sense and apart from a few grainy night shots, it was visually ok.
Cons: I felt this story was very unoriginal. It's a very generic concept and I doubt it's the last we'll see of it. They really didn't take any risks or come up with any new ideas to add to the concept.
Overall: A very generic storyline but well achieved.
Imagine waking up in the middle of the night because your obsessive friend is playing drums in your room. Very clever. That poor girlfriend! Really liked this one.
The scene where the friend photo bombed their photo was a highlight. Wish there had been more of those type of scenes!!!
A guy follows his best friend (vic) everywhere and keeps him up all night playing the drums etc. which is ruining vics relationship. The acting was perfect for this film and I enjoyed the story. Really well done, funny story. My favourite of the heat.
This was a well executed film in this genre. The concept was good and it did everything it was meant to do storywise and shot wise. Unfortunately I didn't really identify or find empathy with any of the characters so it ultimately was just a tad annoying. But everything else was fine.
An annoying character played by a weak actor makes for an annoying and weak film. Characters in the genre should grow a little bit but that doesn't really happen here. Some nice gags lifted me out of wanting to punch Gregg in the face and I guess wanting to make him stop was sort of the point but it didn't make me enjoy the film.
Very simple story, well portrayed and executed as far as visual and sound. A touch more character arc would add greater depth to the film, but a very enjoyable watch.
I really enjoyed this film. It was well written, acted and shot, funny, with a nice pay off. It just reminded me a bit of The Cable Guy...
