Second best in it's heat but the animation one was still better by far. looked good and was funny but I didn't find the use of "FAD" original. good shit though. Love the Genre
This was brilliant. Well acted, good story, great use of the line and the prop. Character was well played.
The only reason I'm not giving it 10/10 is the camera got a bit jittery in places, I realise it was meant to be hand held but there was some point were it was like the cameraman was on a vibratrain (or perhaps that was another fad?).
Overall i would hope this makes the finals because it deserves to be seen.
My favourite line from this was the 'You're sparkly arse in going down' in reference to the team Edward/Twilighters.
Well done team. I Loved it!
My first thought about this film was that the sound was kind of terrible.
But then, by a few minutes in, I was laughing so much that I didn't care anymore.
A lot of great moments, an excellent ending, and some clever writing made this one of the best films of the night.
I initially though that "What have you got?" was being overused, but then it was turned into a joke and realized that was the point, and so I felt like a bit of an idiot.
The camera was overly shaky at times- a bit too much, I think. But, again, it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of the film. Good work.
Clearly had a rendering or framerate problem during transcoding which got really annoying during some of the chase scenes. Nice acting, cute idea, but I'm very over the wry mockumentary thing, it's been done to death in 48 hours, but you guys did it pretty well even if it was very derivative.
Great film! Great cast! Great use of prop, line, and character! Great contender for the finals!
Yes its our own film, but alas, it was great to see it on the big screen, and it generally sounded like we got laughs in all the right moments and a huge applause at the end! Well done team!
Brilliant. Original. Brilliant.
OMG I was laughing.
Could have made so much better use (I didnt think you needed to be so obvious with the dialogue) of the planking scene.
You loose half a star.
Fun, probably my fave in the heat. Really liked the acting from the lead guy he really carried it.
A good effort and quite cute. I found it to be a little clunky though.
Well deserved audience choice award!! I loved the concept of busting fads! And the twist at the end where Bobby Young ended up being the biggest fad of all was brilliant writing.
The camera work was hard to watch for some members of our group with the hand held effect literally forcing some friends to close their eyes to avoid a seizure. Over all, funny as hell. Good job.
Really well acted by the lead Fad buster. This mockumentary cum reality show was a clever idea. I was actually hoping to see a real Fad movie like Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo, or something, so to see another film trying desparately (but quite effectively) to follow the formulaic 48 hours "Tim Porch Story" mockumentary style was disappointing to me.
Nice work though!
