First of all: sweet ride.
Good effort for what could be a tough genre. 3 guys break into an ex's house on a recovery mission.
Good bustle and energy in the raiding scene: lots of action going on and excellent use of space.
Some great visual gags (with a nicely incorporated rack focus) and a few funny lines - including a gross-out last line that had me a little embarrassed at how much I laughed at it. that can only be a good thing
I always enjoy the work DF-10 create for the competition and this year was no different. They pulled off Real Time without the cliche ticking clocks or the 24-esque multi camera angled split screens. It flowed well, was funny and punchy and had a fun roster of charming and yet oddly creepy characters who were enjoyable to watch on screen.
Very nice car. And a very nice film!
You magnificent bastards!
This film was fantastic - I saw 3 out of the 4 heats (and made a finalist film myself) and this was very impressive. The genre itself would have been a challenge for most people, but DF-10 nailed it. Brilliant story, script, acting, cinematography, sound... I'd give it 10/10 if I could.
