Great characters and although the boss reminded me of the boss in the IT Crowd I thought the cast were convincing with great comedy timing. Nicely edited using the hours to d day transitions and the film was well paced and funny. Good job!
Good production values and well paced story line. Characters all well written and well portrayed. Agree with RamblingScot echoes of The Office but nothing wrong with that!
A lot of this was really funny, and it was well-structured, and some of it exceptionally well-shot. Good performances too, and a decent plot, with a well-set-up ending. The only problem is to me it felt a bit derivative of e.g. IT Crowd or The Office, which spoiled the enjoyment a little personally; but it seems exceptionally churlish to complain about that in the context of this competition, where getting anything at all in on time is frankly a miracle. Looking forward to even bigger / better things next time round.
Tight storyline with a strong conclusion. In the style of The Office yes...we have seen it before . . but nicely and simply done to get this comedic little tale edited well into the seven minute format. Against its heat competitors it stood out due to well portrayed characters very well acted. Smart use of a single shoot location allowing for focus on high production values. Surely a good contender for acting awards.
^As a mother of one of the actors, Bette, I think your opinion on the acting might be a little biased :p
But I agree it was really good and I really liked this film. It had a great narrative, it was easy to follow, and was filmed well. Although I agree with everyone that it seemed loosely based on 'The Office', it really didn't bother me and I had a really good time watching this film. Well done!!
