We are a group of students from AUT majoring in TV and Screen Production, and the 48 Hour Film Fest 2015 is the first for many of us. We like to think we are all 'en fleek'...but to be honest, we were 'en worried' and 'en stoked' that we were able to hand our film in on time! (6:55pm). We are so inspired by all the teams and were humbled/confused/ecstatic/in denial of our 2nd placing. Thank you so much for those who voted. Much love to our brother/sister team ALPACA PICNIC.

Brilliant! An awesome take on the Cat & Mouse genre. The team put together a great story and couldn't be faulted on their execution. Sound and shot composition was on fleek, just like their name! Definitely deserve to be in the top 3 for the heat!

Simplicity can stand out when done right, and this was one of the most memorable films of the heat. What is essentially a one-man short about a dude trying to get his sandwich, the lead had me hooked from the start with a constantly humorous, laid-back charisma as he talks to his mate over the phone about his sandwich.

Best of all, it never oversteps the mark by going preposterous or drawing it out. There might not be much technical flair to see 'Entre-pruner' into the finals (felt there were two too many underwater shots), but it's a damn fine piece of filmmaking.

This film was fantastic., reminiscent I thought of many short-films produced by Pixar. The film was shot very well, it had a great story, and absolutely loved the ending. 10/10.

The concept was great, and the script and plot were just so real and believable with a sort of subtle humour and satire. Technically sound.

A clever take on the cat and mouse genre. A visually pleasing execution with excellent shot composition. The dialogue was witty and believable. The subtle social commentary on technology addiction was very compelling. A great film all round!

A brilliantly simple short by a group of talented emerging filmmakers.

Having a single character is a bold move but when they are as charismatic as this lead it can be stupidly effective. Harper carries the film well and maintains audience interest with funny lines and familiar tropes.

Great premise, excellent execution. Looking forward to seeing more amazing work by this great team.

Punny title first of all. The film was technically sound. The concept was subtle yet comical. Shot composition on point.
The actor carried the performance well throughout.

Had a few good laughs in this one, and a smile during the rest of it. Funny character writing and a nice performance stand out. The technical coverage, range of shots and overall shoot quality were quite good too. Never thought I'd emotionally value a sandwich the way I ended up doing. There were a couple of misses here and there, but for a team of first timers it's pretty great! Nicely done.

Film was so en Fléek, from the story to the different types of camera shots...
